One of my favorite parts is "Authority reasserts its rights", in which Javert confronts Valjean at Fantine's deathbed. Says Javert: "And now there's the other one! Will you hold your tongue, you hussy? It's a pretty sort of a place where convicts are magistrates, and where women of the town are cared for like countesses! Ah! But we are going to change all that; it is high time!" I love his weird speech patterns. :)
My other favorite is anything from "The Seventh Circle & the Eighth Heaven" to the end; that is, from where Valjean confesses to Marius to his death. Those bits really make me cry.
