week 3?

Alright, another (lame) discussion.

Which actors do you think physically look the part, at least canonically?

For me, probably...
Valjean: Ivan Rutherford
Javert: Someone not white, obviously... perhaps Philip Hernández.
Fantine: Rachel York/Susan Spencer
Enjolras: This fellow; I believe it's Alexander Diepold.
Marius: Kevin Kern
Cosette: Ali Ewoldt (although not Filipino; I feel rather nasty saying that!)
Eponine: No one that I've ever encountered.
Thénardier: ?
Mme. Thénardier: ?
Gavroche: ?

Feel free to include Les Amis and Patron-Minette, by the by.

EDIT: I found this amusing, although I don't think it deserves its own post.
From broadwaybox.com's LM reviews:
"Worthwhile, but some oddities about the production.
...Having lived in New York all my life, I am no stranger to our diversity, however the multi-ethnic cast was a distraction as I do not believe it to be historically accurate (although I am going to check it out). It does seem a bit far-fetched to have an African-American in the role of Javert - and his voice didn't seem to be the overriding reason for putting him there - so what were the producers and casting people thinking?"
